Our Team
Meet the Founder
Valerie Wolfe is the founder of Wolfe & Cub Learning Center and brings over 16 years of experience in education to her work with children and families. Her career includes four years teaching high school English and twelve years in special education spanning elementary through high school settings. She holds a master’s degree in special education, which has deeply shaped her understanding of diverse learning needs and her commitment to individualized, evidence-based instruction.
Advocacy is at the heart of Valerie’s work. She believes every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and valued—and that every family deserves a trusted partner. She works closely with parents to navigate educational challenges, celebrate meaningful growth, and ensure that each child’s unique needs are understood and honored.
Wolfe & Cub Learning Center was created with a vision that extends beyond traditional tutoring or therapy. Valerie designed it to be a warm, inclusive environment where children feel emotionally safe, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace. At Wolfe & Cub, learning is personalized, strengths are celebrated, and every step of progress matters. Her mission is simple: to create a loving, supportive community where children and families feel confident and welcomed, an extension of the Wolfepack she is proud to lead.
Outside of Wolfe & Cub, Valerie loves time spent with her husband and their two beloved dogs, Baxter and Cooper, who rarely miss out an adventure! Traveling is one of their greatest joys, whether exploring the beauty of Michigan or discovering new places around the world together. She loves reading mystery novels and solving mystery boxes for fun, and values quality time with family and friends, crafting, camping, and making memories together.
Anne Lybic
Anne Lybik is a recently retired Elementary Instructional Coach/Teacher from Dearborn Public Schools. During her time as an Instructional Coach, she would support both teachers and students during their reading and writing literacy blocks, using student data to drive instruction and build on student strengths. Anne is trained and has successfully implemented several literacy and science of reading programs from Pre K to Upper Elementary. At Wolfe and Cub Learning Center, she will specialize in small groups and one on one learning in reading and writing. Anne is an avid reader and writer, she looks forward to working with readers and writers of all levels and interests.
A Note from the Founder:
I am thrilled to welcome Annie Lybic to Wolfe & Cub Learning Center! Annie embodies everything I could hope for in a team member. I had the privilege of working with her at Geer Park Elementary (GO DOLPHINS!), where she came out of retirement to support a 2nd-grade classroom. From the moment she walked in, her warmth, kindness, and love for children shone brilliantly.
Annie loved my students in my Moderately Cognitively Impaired (MOCI) classroom, and my students LOVED and ADORED her. Every single child felt seen, celebrated, and supported. She even made sure every week to purchase items from our classroom Coffee Cart, showing her thoughtfulness and genuine care.
Annie knows her craft inside and out as a former literacy coach and brings inclusivity, joy, and inspiration to everyone around her. Having her join tour team is a dream come true!

A Note from the Founder:
My heart is so full welcoming Michelle Radtke to the Wolfe & Cub Learning Center team. Michelle is not only an incredible educator, but someone I have had the privilege of mentoring and watching blossom over the years.
The way she loves her students, believes in them, and celebrates every bit of their growth is truly something special. She builds the most genuine, meaningful connections, and her classroom is always filled with patience, warmth, and joy.
I feel so lucky to now call her not just a colleague, but a teammate. Her skills and knowledge are invaluable, but even more than that, her heart is. Our students and families are going to be so loved and supported by her, and I couldn’t be more excited to have her as part of our Wolfe & Cub family.
